SLEMAN, PT Pertamina (Persero) is to plant 28,200 saplings in the area of ​​the slopes of Mount Merapi. Planting trees is done symbolically by the Director of Pertamina, Karen Agustiawan with Vice Governor of Yogyakarta, Sri Paduka Paku Alam IX and Sleman Regent, Sri Purnomo.

Tree seedlings will be distributed in several regions around the slopes of Mount Merapi. Ie 25 000 seedlings of tree in the village of Budi Petung collaboration with the Society of Mercy under the built Kopassus. While the 3200 fruit trees are productive crops will be planted in areas of Pertamina Kinahrejo as an effort to support the economic recovery of communities after disasters.

"This tree planting program around Merapi disaster affected areas, as a form of Pertamina's efforts in supporting the economic recovery of communities after disasters. This activity is in line with the local government plan that would develop as a regional agro-tourism Village Kinahrejo fruit," said Karen Agustiawan.
