Damen and Naviera Integral said they have worked very closely on developing the new FCS 4008, which is mainly focused on passenger transport rather than a combination of passengers and cargo. The 42m-long vessel has a capacity for 100 people.
The vessel combines a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, which allows the vessel to combine strength with speed, the Dutch shipbuilder said.
Both vessels are due for delivery in 2016.
